| "Surface Fluctuations on Polymer" Prof. Ophelia Tsui Boston University ewetting is a phenomenon by which a liquid film breaks up into droplets, a subject of both scientific and technological interest. Theory predicts dewetting to follow specific growth patterns of surface fluctuations on
the film. However, most experiments have found serious disagreement with the predicted patterns. I will review this subject and explain how the experiments may be understood in simple physical terms. |
