"Nonlocal Susceptibilities and Novel Scattering Effects "

The scattering from bodies exhibiting a non-local dielectric response is investigated within the weak scattering limit. A quasi-homogeneous approximation is introduced and investigated. A qualitative change in the scattering pattern of scattered radiation is seen to emerge with the onset of a non-local response.
